Neither Trump nor Hegseth are intelligent persons. They are not capable of strategic thought. Neither for that matter was Hitler. And this is ultimately the downfall of all tyrants.

It was over-hyped and the panel discussion dragged Trump in too many times. It might have been educational to the newbie to Murrow, but it was a surreptitious ad for cigarette tobacco--bad enough that Murrow was a heavy smoker but everybody else smoking didn't need to seep into the verbal script. It was a flat chronicle of Murrow highlights--people interested in Murrow would do well to just read existing books about him.

Hey, misanthropes get a bad rep.

One of the nice things about being a misanthrope is that you stop giving a shit about humans and their fucked up rules and you just do your own thing.

It has non-conformity built into the gig, and while that might annoy and scare the shit out of the normies, it's pretty helpful for cutting through society's oppressive bullshit and just finding a mental and emotional space to be yourself.

And that's a good thing.

- Summary: The HTML tags `<blink>` and `<marquee>` were once used to create flashing and scrolling text on web pages. `<blink>` was introduced by Netscape in 1995 as a joke, while `<marquee>` was added by Microsoft in Internet Explorer 2.0. Despite being non-standard, they became popular in the late 1990s, with some developers combining them to create both flashing and scrolling effects. The tags were supported by different browsers, with Netscape supporting `<blink>` and Internet Explorer supporting `<marquee>`. Only Netscape 7 supported both tags. Today, `<blink>` is obsolete, while `<marquee>` still works in some browsers, but its use is discouraged. The article discusses the history and usage of these tags, highlighting the importance of progressive enhancement in web development.

AI will help cure cancer. It will help fight climate change.

I firmly believe that.

But until it does - we have to govern, research, legislate, care and survive like it won’t.

Hope is not a policy.

uspol, andor spoilers

You know that recent season on Andor where the Empire stages a lot of things to get the regular people to protest and someone to do the wrong thing so they can invade and occupy that planet?

The news in California is not comforting.
