Garden work - we have gophers out the wazzo. The owls, coyotes, foxes, cats, and snakes are simply not doing their jobs.

I am going to plant a pair of Japanese maples (expensive!) - in 25 gallon gopher baskets - and that means I gotta dig a pair of 25 gallon holes. Ugh.

(Then I gotta build tree cages to block the deer from eating the young trees.)
