I miss when the internet upheld Godwin's law. Remember back in 2006 when the second people started bringing the world nazi into the discussion everyone laughed them off the forum for violating Godwin's law? Those were the golden years.
@DavidBond We've been overwhelmed and desentitized to the stupidity that Godwin's Law addresses. The forces of stupidity have won through perserverance.

I remember it well: it was in 1992, in Oregon, that they began the deliberate smearing of conservatives as Nazis. With their very own version of historical revisionism.
