Today was one of the hardest days in clinic. Seeing the impact of structural inequities on the lives of children is heartbreaking and unbearable. Families I see who have been hit by endless immigration policies are also often ineligible for assistance w/food, housing and employment. I just couldn’t hold the tears back today. As we reflect on what we are grateful for, especially this week, may we also think about those in need. And keep fighting for change.
