Eh, I think both need attention. There is a history of racism against blacks, and that does carry on in the south in particular.
That said, race crimes against whites have been rising, and definitely need media attention too.
Black on White crime is like 10 times as common as White on Black crime. Even in terms of unarmed people killed by the police, Whites are more likely to be victims when controlling for the much higher black violent crime rate and resulting police encounters. White people are subjected to ACTUAL race based discrimination in the educational system and the labor market, spun as a positive thing (Affirmative Action).
This isn't a case of good points existing on both sides, this is a case of White people needing to wake up and start defending their own interests, and not waste empathy on nonwhites who overwhelmingly do not reciprocate it.

No, I just actually see the potential repercussions of such actions. It would be seen as an escalation and likely increase black-on-white crime.
The two things most likely to actually help the situation is 1. Make a PR campaign to help black people see white people as actual humans just trying to get by, and 2. Give black people hope for a better future.
Only with hope can people put aside violent tendencies.

Blacks already enjoy preferential treatment, and still fail miserably. Unless you have some proposal for increasing their average IQ by 10-15 points, they're just gonna have to accept their position as a permanent underclass - which still means they'll have a living standard far above most blacks living in majority-black countries.

It would be an honest comparison. Up until recently, almost all whites were raised in a two-family home. That started dropping in the 90s, and we've seen a drop in average IQ since then(yes, even in whites).
It isn't, that should be blatantly obvious. Otherwise you'd just compare Whites and blacks raised in similar conditions. The fact that you don't want to compare apples to apples is very revealing.

The study that you are quoting (if you didn't just pull this shit off of Vox or Google) is the Moore study from 1986. This was an extremely underpowered study (23 subjects in both arms) which is worth less than dogshit in psychometric analysis.
It also flies in the face of almost every other worthwhile IQ study (including the Minnesota Transracial Adoption Study from 1976), which demonstrates 1) IQ is 80% or more genetic and at most 20% environmental 2)There are very clear and replicable differences between Whites and sub-Saharan Africans
The average IQ in Africa BTW is significantly lower than 85, the fact that negroids in America max out at 85 shows the beneficial effects of access to unlimited nutrition and proper medical care/sanitation
