Imagine how great it would be if internet ads were 100% local, and not all product based (like local events, etc). I bet most people wouldn’t even want ad block.
Imagine if you saw ads for things like your neighbor selling food from their garden, instead of some random junk that Facebook thinks you want to buy from Wish. That would actually be so nice.
@Demosthenes Exactly. I’m talking about something like newspaper ads. People go out of their way to look at ads in the newspaper, because they are actually interesting, and aren’t as manipulative as other formats.
I think internet ads could easily have the same formula as newspaper ads, and it would be so much nicer.
