@jjspano@fosstodon.org as someone who struggled through university with an arm-based chromebook with debian installed instead of Chrome OS, my advice is to stop it, lol. Just pick up a separate laptop from Craigslist for $100, slap unlicensed windows 10 on it(do at your own risk I'm not a lawyer, but they probably aren't gonna track down a student) and use it for for university only.
Your life will be much easier, and you'll still have linux to play with on your main system.
@Demosthenes @jjspano same happened with me. After two years in of headaches trying to use just linux for school, i had enough and just used windows separately as dual boot just for school
