No, if trump were like Hitler no one would be saying he was like Hitler. thats what made Hitler Hitler, thats how and why he got arrested, because no one knew or even suspect he was evil until we were already at war.
Never forget Hitler was praised in american publications such as Time Life right up until the war. The Hitlers of the world "look fairer and smell fouler" as tolkien said. No Trump is just some old dude who has some shitty ideas (like a lot of old dudes) and doesnt really do much to hide them.
@Diptchip while I do feel every future president is likely to be horrific, evil, bad presidents... to say they are like hitler, well none of them yet anyway. Thats a level of evil that thankfully none of them have reached (yet)
But more importantly is when i say like hitler I'm not talking about evil itself.. hitler wasnt just evil, he was charismatic. No one knew hitler was going to be the kind of man he was until it was much too late. Before that he looked very appealing to most people..
What I am getting at is a true hitler is a person who can and will fool you and a whole nation into thinking they are a great guy with good values, right up until he is not.. that wasnt trump.
