As someone who has long retired there is nothing that I miss more than interacting with young people. I am many others would really benefit from your contributions. Deadline tomorrow! We are hiring postdocs for two projects. One seeks to reveal how neural activity is structured in brainwide patterns to support diverse behaviors in mice. The other aims to relate the activity of a single neuron with that of thousands of presynaptic and postsynaptic neurons across the mouse cortex (w Alipasha Vaziri and Federico Rossi). Hello! I'm a PhD candidate in Neurobiology and Behavior (#Neuroscience) at the University of California Irvine. I'm using #rsfMRI and #PET imaging to study the progression of #Alzheimer's disease pathology and clinical impairment in people with #DownSyndrome. I'm planning to defend my dissertation in summer 2023, and I've been looking for jobs related to #ScienceCommunication and/or #SciencePolicy to pursue after graduation.
I love running, hot yoga, hiking, and spending time with my cats 🙂
