Okay, so, #introdiction , I’m #JennieBreeden and I started posting my #daily #sliceoflife #webcomic back in 2001 #TheDevilsPanties. @ericsfraga I have good lights, for sure! Lights are important both for the paths and visibility on the stretch of road I can’t avoid.
My difficulty in winter is always balancing the cold and the sweat of exertion. In the morning it will be below freezing, in the afternoon slightly above. I need the right coat, the right pants, the right gloves.

Interesting find at the farm today. This looks like a red-legged frog egg mass, but it's way too early, months early, for them to be breeding here. I have it on good authority that it's either that or a weirdly large mass of an earlier breeder like chorus frog. Any frog folks have a better guess? (Coast range of Oregon, taken today, Dec. 28) Either way, I'll be keeping a closer eye on the pond over the next few weeks.

Dear #Linux , I need some help with a secret surprise.
My family is pre-qualified to host some foreign exchange students from past experience and we ended up an emergency placement of a Ukrainian student over Christmas break.
She likes coding in Python and her dad works in IT back in Ukraine. I would like to gift her family a retired-from-work but well-spec'ed laptop but I can't get it to boot! She goes to a boarding school on Sunday or Monday, and that's where I need your help. Details next!

Why is there such a disconnect between professional and leisure life?
Tonight a band I’d like to see plays at 10pm. Tomorrow I work at 7. These two times are not compatible, and are both oddly arbitrary. There’s nothing I do that needs to be done at 7, and no reason a band should play at 10pm Wednesday night.
For #2023 I am determined to take up #bicyclecommuting again! A friend just gave me a wonderfully reflective and bright orange winter jacket, perfect for cold weather. It fits perfectly!
Now I just have to talk myself into getting out before the sun rises and being prepared to bike back after it sets.

Tonight I looked up options to attach a Burley Piccolo trailerbike to a Surly #BigDummy #CargoBike and couldn't find anything better than the guide I published on my blog, so I cleaned it up and republished it. My DIY solution lasted 10 years until the kids outgrew it.
