So my FIL, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was placed in a specialized care home last week. Now I’m noticing that my mom’s memory has really deteriorated a lot in recent weeks, and it’s starting to remind me of what conversations have been like with my FIL. This is all happening much too quickly for me to process, and it’s got me in a deep funk. 😢
