Even with all the shit that’s gone down in my lifetime, there have also been some pretty cool things.
• I got to see the Aurora Borealis in Alabama
• Rovers on Mars send back amazing photos
• Scientists learned that not only are giant squid real, but so are colossal squid
• The proliferation of pizza restaurants in the second half of the 20th century is cause for rejoicing
• Mastodon is full of my kind of weirdos
