OK. Experiencing a conundrum in shifting behaviors from Twitter to Mastodon.
On Twitter I occasionally made posts that were just commentaries on things that I encountered online. But it doesn't seem appropriate to do so from within an instance dedicated to sci comm.
I've read the CoC and while it's inclusive of non-sci comm content I don't want to start a behavior that could lead to inundation of the instance with content that isn't in scope.
Is the solution the "followers only option"?
@EubieDrew thank you! I think I have to start comparing and contrasting different apps for the ease of having diffetent options and accounts. I usually use SM from my phone and didn't even realize there were different options.
