One thing I haven't figured out between various instances, sometimes I'll have someone follow me on this one and their profile will basically look empty with maybe a couple posts. Then I'll go to follow them on my alt, and I can see their profile pic and more posts. I'm just curious why that happens. (In this example my alt is on the same instance that the person who followed me was on.)

@EubieDrew Makes sense! I was just surprised. I usually pass up following back if I don't see a userpic or posts. But this made me realize that maybe it's just my instance not seeing their posts yet...
@tehjessica Also, if you check out an account on from an instance different than yours while on YOUR server, and there are few posts to see, click on their avatar or name to see them on THEIR server.
In most cases, this will work w/o you needing an acct on their server/instance.
