I would really wish everyone would use some content warnings for meta talk.
My timeline is filled with more than 50% meta talk about how mastodon works, how bad twitter is, about the great and the bad features of mastodon and so on. That's great and I understand that this is good and normal, especially after so many of you joining over the last days.
But for someone who is here for over 5 years it a little hard, the other original content is drowning in meta talk. So please add CWs to them.

And using CW for this kind of talk would be a great opportunity to train yourself using more CW over here. It's one of the best features of mastodon to help everyone decide when they want to read stuff. CW are politeness.

@leah I well understand CW, but here I think you are implicitly proposing to use it as a “Subject” line, or a heading for the rest of the post so that you can decide whether to read it at all. But that’s not what CWs were supposed to achieve originally. I rather suggest to start using headings, or something like that. Not sure your client will swallow this, but something like:
…the rest…
