> Průměrná pražská domácnost, která pro odběr elektřiny využívá jednotarifní distribuční sazbu, v rámci které elektřinou neohřívá vodu v bojleru a elektřinou netopí, by tak po zastropování a započtení všech poplatků měla podle PRE platit kolem čtrnácti set korun měsíčně. Oproti současnosti je to zhruba o tři sta korun více.

how i am already very above average (electricity consumption-wise) prague household
@pony so, what's your consumption? I have roughly 115kWh/month. Baseline for empty apartment is 60W (server + fridge)
@pony from the paper that's so hard to understand if you dont have anything better
@pony yup that checks out

maybe good idea to try finding what uses so much more power than me with cooking, baking, drying fruits and other dumb things
@piggo that's cheap enough to buy some for myself, just tell me if it's usable
@pony I have it since last year and never had any problems with it, it has JSON API and plugs into HA, if you want that.
@piggo sounds cool, i just need to figure out how many i need (and also a meaningful way to get readings for the entire apartment which is not writing down the number from the meter every single evening like an idiot)
@piggo i have no idea where and how would i install that, i would need to replace the breaker box? that sounds like something the landlord wouldn't hate because it was probably made while Husák was still president, but

I look at that Shelly stuff, it's rather fancy. I'd go for it only if it's a permanent installation. If @pony wants just one-off thing, I guess going for any of these amazon.de/s?k=smart+plug&crid= which come with an app might be cheaper. Even buying just one and using it sequentially per single appliance over a couple of days could do the trick.

@FailForward @pony ye to just find that the fridge is bad, this would be enough. but everyone loves fancy charts!
@FailForward @piggo i can have the shelly thing from alza like tomorrow tho, unlike anything from amazon :)
@piggo @FailForward bruh, so what should i get? it's not realistic to get one for every device i have, i will have to try and move it around anyway
@pony @FailForward this one looks fine if you just want it to check stuff once. bonus: no need for a horrible app

@piggo @pony @FailForward

I have a similar one I use for checking the power usage of some electric heaters, it works well and doesn't send your data to who knows where for the app..

@piggo @FailForward maybe i get one shelly because i will probably want a permanent meter for the server, and this as a movable extra
