#Recommendations please! Every year my husband and I buy each other a small gift based around a theme, and this year it’s #CookeryBooks. We’re in #UK and both want something that caters well for #vegetarian diets (for me), around an international cuisine (not Indian though, we have a lot of Indian cookery books already). Also, I don’t want to have to travel to Marrakesh/Mexico City (etc) to get the ingredients either!

@kwelch Anna Jones has written a couple of great books, Jackie Kearney has a fantastic one - Vegan Street Food: Foodie Travels From India to Indonesia (don’t need to be vegan to enjoy it); Sasha Gill’s Jackfruit and Blue Ginger; or even Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage Veg Everyday (would save this if house was burning down)

@realtine we have the HFW book, but for one reason or another never really got into it. Maybe now we’ve expanded our culinary knowledge we should revisit it and have another look. Some great suggestions there, thanks!

@kwelch @realtine River Cottage was new to me. Enjoyed watching some old RC videos last night.
