One local paper reported early about Santos’s deceits, and editorialized that he “is so bizarre, unprincipled and sketchy that we cannot (endorse him). … He boasts like an insecure child — but he’s most likely just a fabulist — a fake.”

@rgrunbaum There is no introspection here o the part of the Washington Post, as to why large media outlets such as themselves are not monitoring the genuine and active local ones. It could be part of a system that rewards strong local reporting.
