@jik So good of you to care, it does sound stressful. Are you using a credit card and not debit? Is there a way you can be in complete control of the account and still let him use it?
@Gaythia I use a credit card, my uncle uses a debit card. He is not willing to relinquish control to the extent that you suggest. He thinks everyone is out to get him and doesn't trust anyone. His willingness to accept help from others is transactional: he accepts help when he has no other choice or when it's something he wants. I help him not because I enjoy it or it's easy or rewarding, but because I believe even difficult people deserve to live out their lives as they choose with dignity.
