My Android phone has now joined Google's new "Find My Device" #Bluetooth tracking network. So far, so good.

After reading https://security.googleblog.com/2024/04/find-my-device-network-security-privacy-protections.html it looks like the fundamentals are more or less the same as with AirTags: trackers broadcast a public key, devices pick up the broadcast and use it to encrypt a location report, and the owner can decrypt it again with the private key.

No details, though: anyone knows more about e.g. key format, BT parameters etc.?
