I'm about through with phone apps for Mastodon. Have tried 3. In all 3 (most recent: Tusky), actions don't synch with desktop. I spent over an hour last night on potential follow-backs via Tusky (For me, that's a LOT of online time.), only to see that none of it took effect here. Frustrating. Won't make that mistake again. Apparently, at least for now, this is going to be a desktop-only situation.

@JulieNye I found that I could “install” the web page as an app on my Android phone, and it works well for browsing and posting, and includes most of the features. The only thing that didn’t work was attachments, so I had to skip over to the official app to create a post with the photos I just posted.
I just opened the site in my phone’s browser, and install is one of the options under the three dot menu.

@IAmErik I might have to try that. It's mostly a question of discretionary time for me. The biggest issue for the moment is that I hate to ignore followbacks, but it's slow going to pick through them. Being able to do that one the phone during the normal down-times (sitting & waiting for whatever) would be useful, but darned sure not if it doesn't translate back to desktop, which is where I do most typing. Dunno. I'm still a rank newbie and have lots to work through.

I dropped $2.99 for Fedilab this morning. It seems to work quite well, and shows my lists as a bar at the top, which I really like.
