My only quibble with Mastodon is that you have to follow accounts in order to add them to lists. On the bird site I could create lists for say world news, add accounts, and be able to quickly switch between my regular feed of people I follow and news accounts without one muddying up the other.
I don't want news in my home or local feeds, just when I feel like looking at that type of content.
@IAmErik Interesting! So not the case of accessing via 3rd party app vs web but the actual settings of the server itself? I'll poke around to see if I can find more info on that.
