@jaykuo , we saw two different speeches. The one I saw was Biden telling the world that republicans are not the bad guys, and he could work with them. That just isn't realistic.
No. What he said was that not ALL Republicans are bad guys. Something very different. Giving those (few, but important) that actually are there to do some good for their constituents and country the respect they need to stand up to the crazies. he can work with the saner ones, and this outreached hand might be all they need to distance themselves from the radicals.
@MaryPot @jaykuo , I am sure there are good republicans. Maybe as much as 1% of them. Biden seems to think that he can work with them, for good effect. I feel he is absolutely wrong. Biden thinks republicans are not the bad guys. I see no difference between that attitude and trump saying there are good Nazies.

Biden isn't stupid. He sees what we see. He probably also sees that there are some few republicans that are about as disgusted as the rest of the world is, but have to keep their heads down if they are going to get anything done. It is those republicans Biden needs if he is going to get anything good through the House.
Remember how narrow the R majority is.
