@Radical_EgoCom@kolektiva.social @LaNaehForaday , capitalism works great in some situations. If you want to go to the moon, build an internet, map the world, etc, I doubt there is a better system than capitalism. The problem is it also works to create efficient wars, spread diseases, undercut labor (and don't get me wrong, unions are pure capitalist constructs, I am not talking about them here) and literally incentivise pollution. We don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water. Without capitalism, the Corona Virus would still not have a vaccine. Polio would be spreading. Small pox would still be a thing. There are positive and negatives for every form of economies and government. Even a religious dictatorship has merit, in small ways, with the right conditions.
@Flare @Radical_EgoCom@kolektiva.social @LaNaehForaday military dictator Tito both contributed to the end of Nazies, and did end small pox. When the last outbreak happened, he shut down his country and threatened to shoot anyone who stepped outside. He mass vaccinated the nation. This ended small pox.
You may not praise the man, that is your choice. But, his system worked in a way no other system could have. This is just fact. Even a military dictatorship has its time and place when it is the best system of government. This is true for all systems humans have devised or imagined.
