@godlessmom Musk is a racist, transphobic ass, but he has also been involved with Tesla for over 19 years, and has been CEO for 15 years. It's silly to suggest he's not responsible for making Tesla what it is, both good and bad. Like Henry Ford, he can be both a terrible person and a reasonably accomplished auto exec.

@itzpaquet @godlessmom I’m sure he’s hell to deal with, and all the more publicly embarrassing to the companies now. But they are both still his companies, and ones that he had deep involvement with from the beginning (SpaceX) or nearly so.
I think painting Musk as a petulant man-child underplays how dangerous he really could be.
