@AmishSuperModel @gordoooo_z , there are a surprising number of Canadians who own guns. There are a surprising number of Swiss that own sub machine guns. I think a major difference is universal healthcare systems. It may also be education, but that's a bit harder to nail down.

@gordoooo_z @AmishSuperModel , gotcha. In the USA under Reagan, we massively gutted public healthcare services, and for the most part, services are unavailable. 6-12 months would be an awesome improvement, but yes, that can be massively improved on too.

@CDunnPasadena @MarkRuffalo , as far as I know, that is the extent of the tax payer money invested. I do not think this justifies the use of eminent domain to force public use of facilities. If there is more, I would be interested in knowing about it. I would also suggest that the Tesla charging network is not as powerful as what is needed for a new EV Hummer. I suspect this reality is part of why the Tesla Cyber Truck is delayed.

@Free_Press , there is zero chance I would get within 50 miles of there for awhile. I am hoping the toxic bloom doesn't make it's way down stream, because I live downstream...

@Free_Press , It's pretty simple. He provided products and services people want. From Pay Pal to Tesla to Space X. This doesn't mean he is a great guy, or sane. Ford supported Nazis. I can't name a famous business man who loved black folks. Most of them are just bad people, but they hit on good ideas and sink their money into it.

@Tbsa , there is always an excuse. There have been many times in history where Manchin and Sinima were not in office, and the Ds were in the majority in the House, Senate, and had the White House too. And nothing was done. Next time, it will be someone else who is the revolving villain, and we will wring our hands and say "if only *blank* would have supported it" with some new names instead of Manchin and Sinima.
