@swordsjew , I think the point of that poem is that you, and I, and everyone are right now being threatened. There are no fence sitters, no non combatants, no civilians. No allies either we are all hip deep in the muck shoulder to shoulder, front line soldiers.

Pick a side.

@Talia_christine , guilty. And not ashamed of my "Join the Thunder" dragon squad shirt, and shoes ony attire I had on most of the day.

@Free_Press I remember living in Dogtown, Venice Beach, in the 70s and the Venice Times newspaper had a picture of a snowman on the front page... it had snowed enough that someone had managed to scrape their yard clean and make one about a foot tall...

RT @petridishes

@swordsjew @OhNoSheTwitnt , you're kinda amazing. Don't let the fascists get you down.

@Free_Press , I'm not sure about that. Trump massively increased farm subsidies when he tried to have a trade war with China. Lots of republicans love farm subsidy socialism.

I want to thank Ben Stein for trending. I learned today that Aunt Jemima was not a historic figure who started a mulling company, but was just more fucking racism.

@NurseStacey , my gods I love people like that. I hope one day to grow up and be like that.

I was orienting a new grad nurse. The thing was, the new nurse seemed to have a disability. It seemed a speech impediment. But she would spontaneously tell people, “I love your shirt!” or to the lab personnel we were picking up blood to transfuse, “Thank you for what you do.” The people she spoke to, lit up with happiness. I can’t remember seeing so many random smiles of happiness. Ever. She had a speech impediment, but I wanted nothing more but to hear her voice. It was beautiful.

@Sunny @TonyStark I question the motives of something like this. It seems like a way to get rid of programs they can't get rid of with an open vote. Social Securuty, Medicare, ADA, EPA, FDA, etc. But the idea isn't bad. We have old Marijuana laws, old laws about hanging underwater on Sundays, laws about how you can beat your wife, etc. I wouldn't mind getting rid of bad laws. I propose rather than sunseting every law, it becomes part of the law that each law is sunsetted if it doesn't prove effective. Every law must include intent, and a method to test its effectiveness.

@jorsh , I might as well promote my pet theory that Elizabeth Hurley should be the next Doctor Who.

@AmishSuperModel @gordoooo_z , you honestly believe that the issue has been studied, and the root cause is "access"? Even when presented with the indisputable fact that women, 50% of the population, have equal access, and do not commit these atrocities?? And you refuse to consider other options? Am I understanding you correctly? This doesn't give you even some brief pause?? If I'm misunderstanding you, feel free to correct me. But I don't think I'm misreading your posts.

Here's your periodic reminder to watch "Harold & Maude" at least once in your lifetime.
