Introduction
My name is Chris and I am the Glycomics Core Director at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston Massachusetts. I use mass spectrometry as the primary detection method for released glycans and glycoconjugates. There is still a lot to learn in the glycosciences so an unbiased technique like mass spec is my favorite tool. #TeamMassSpec #Glycotime
Welcome! 😎
@neely @Chrashwood Okay, I'll bite. How did you get a Gif in your toot?
I am not 100% sure from the web, but on my phone, I download the gif, then from metatext upload it, which is as a video I think... and voila!
@neely @Chrashwood @pwilmart Using Tusky on my Android and the gif search on my keyboard, it's seamless
@pwilmart @JoshuaSharp @Chrashwood
Well your Android keyboard is super fancy… not sure how I can get that on iOS but I am about to go on a quest to try and fine one.
@pwilmart @JoshuaSharp @Chrashwood
What, what?!!! Different apps use different keyboards!!!! From Mammoth (iOS) there’s an add gif option and inserts from GIFy. (A test here). Guess I’ll go back to evaluating apps for this critical scicomm feature.
@neely @pwilmart @JoshuaSharp @Chrashwood Which iOS has GIF built in is the key insight I’ve been looking for!
@pwilmart @Chrashwood @JoshuaSharp @JustinWalley
I am not saying mammoth is the right answer, but it does it. I assume metatext and others could implement.
@JoshuaSharp @neely @Chrashwood Someone needs to let Ben Garcia know! He is the great holdout from #TeamMassSpec. Ha-ha.
