@thedalrymplereport @jdalrymple @davemark I sympathize for you dealing with the ice. But you aren’t really freezing until you are northern MN freezing. My left eyelid froze shut as I walked to work yesterday night.
I don’t think Mastodon is any more confusing than setting up an email account, you pick a server, then you sign up. It is a bit like email in that a person’s username includes the server name… I think the email analogy helps people understand it.
