Not to sound centrist concern troll, but really, a lot of (if not the entirety of) philosophy and especially political philosophy is kinda "pick your poison" thing.
Pretty much all movements have their contradictions and unanswered or poorly-answered questions, and pretty much all movements have a history of pretty abhorrent stuff done in their name.
That is NOT to say that they are all equally bad, and we should just stop thinking about stuff and put those thoughts into action. Not at all. It's just that none is without flaw, and it's a thing to keep in mind and be careful and sane about.
