I have to download and install a pre-built binary of rust in order to build rust. No C bootstrap, and my existing rust 1.69 was incapable of building rust 1.82 without that retarded upgrade chain from the previous post.
Rust is by and for retards.

@gentoobro It is bootstrappable but quite annoyingly, as you'll have to build dozens (if not hundreds) of rust versions to get up to date rustc.
