@fiore A non-proprietary CPU benchmarking utility that ideally would allow reasonable comparisons between the speeds of different CPUs.
If would be useful to allow people to measure the speed of Core 2 Duo CPUs for example, which would allow others to determine if different models that differ in clocks by 5-20% are more or less than 5-20% faster.
Also, it would be useful to see if absolutely proprietary newer CPUs are really that much faster as claimed (I suspect not really).
