@nobody I mean it is a bit ironic of course, given where I've grown up it was normal for bus operators to routinely delay buses at the terminus for two or three hours in the middle of the day, just to collect more cash, winter or summer... but like it's Finland, you don't have German bureaucracy, and you don't have mafia running buses and graveyards, surely we can do better?

@nobody Can you? Incentive engineering isn't easy. If i was a municipal bus director selecting which trips should go (in favor of maintenance or resource economy for example), i'd pick some middle of the night trips that virtually no one uses.

@L29Ah in case of HSL as it is today you could just make them pay for not meeting the schedule

@nobody You're implying they aren't running on your taxed pocket money and wouldn't take more when they are running out.
