This is a weird thing to say, but I really feel like my super-power as a #WebDev is that I don't mind doing the boring grunt work.
A lot of people spend so much time arguing about stuff that they end up doing big initiatives but not really cleaning up and keeping the code nice to work through. I know that is flashier, but focusing on the minutia that other people don't want to bother learning has been really helpful in my career.
@katerberg Yeah, I'm kinda looking forward to some downtime where I could add some linting to my client project and update all the code to follow the new strictness.
@LMFinney I find that stuff so satisfying even though a lot of it is mindless. It’s fantastic to be able to just work and have guard rails in place once you’re done.
