Elon Musk in a perfect example of what happens when you have no one in your orbit who is willing to tell you you're being a complete moron. Instead, he's almost certainly surrounded by yes-men and -women telling him that every piece of garbage spewing from his gob is pure brilliance.
Combine that with being someone with a difficult time understanding social cues and you have a recipe for a massive public flame-out.
