I hate the use of speaker phone in shared environments. Sitting in a waiting room while another lady is speaking loudly on her phone.

I see older people do this more. Younger people tend to stick with text based communication.

@ThinkingSapien me too but I know a lot of older folks do it cause they can’t hear from the little speaker.

@LouisIngenthron @ThinkingSapien that’s what I’m talking about. I’ve seen a lot have it on speakerphone held up to their head.

@jeremydebose @ThinkingSapien I really hope those people don't drive. They would never hear a siren or horn.

When my brother encounters that, he joins in on the conversation.

When they ask him to stay out of the conversation, he ask them to keep him put of their conversation, saying since they put it on speaker phone for all to hear, he feels all are invited to respond.

That's just how he operates. He is full of such stories.

Some lady was in a food joint pestering a cahier about wanting a free drink, holding up the line. The cashier explains she can't.

After a while he yells "I will buy her a drink if it will get her the hell out of my way."

She turns to him and says "I don't want **you** to buy my anything."

"Then what are you complaining about. Get out of my way!"

She complies.

The cashier offers him a free drink.
