Like, when I say it, I don't mean the person should actually have more power. I mean that they should think they have more power if it gets them out of the way of me getting shit done.

Yeah that’s true in my little milieu, to be sure. I thought maybe it was a byproduct of being raised by sarcastic people and everyone else was using it earnestly.
