I don't even have a pithy comment. It's so stupid I can't properly mock it.
@LouisIngenthron @WiredForFlight @NPR good luck to them. Insurers are leaving the state due to climate change risks whether or not the state recognizes it. Destrictive storms will still hit them. People will die. Properties and livelihoods will be ruined, to hell with them all.
@User47 @LouisIngenthron @NPR yep. We even hear about that here in WI since a number are HQed here. Bunch of them are 100% out of FL not just homes but cars and business as well.
@WiredForFlight @User47 @NPR Well, I live here, lol. But I'm 30+ miles from the shore and over 100 feet ASL, so I'm not too worried about it for my lifetime.
But I'd still prefer our government take it seriously instead of playing jackass culture war games.
