Specifically, it was at 1:40, the part about the deductible, when I realized it’s really about the broken US health insurance system.

I’m very lucky that my family’s health insurance (through my wife’s job as a professor) is way better than what he described (our deductibles are much lower), but I’ve heard stories from people who aren’t so lucky. The ACA was a step forward but still very inadequate.

@cohomologyisFUN Yep, like the time I went to fill a prescription and found out by accident that it was 10x more expensive with my insurance than with no insurance at all.

That was pretty messed up.
