I would rather have Joe Biden drooling on the Resolute Desk while the intelligent and eminently competent team he has assembled runs the country than have Trump smearing catsup on the Oval Office walls while the team of actual Nazis and sycophantic idiots he has assembled dismantles our democracy and civil rights.
So would millions of others. But it is not enough.

@LouisIngenthron @lionelb Do the work anyway, because everything is riding on it. I'd rather there was no 22nd amendment and Obama were still president. We don't get what we'd rather have. We get what we make out of what we have.
@LouisIngenthron @lionelb If only more than 25% of Democrats (and Republicans) would participate in our primaries. We have a wide range of options as well, except the compromise happens before the general election, not after, so we actually know what we are voting for. Sure, we can't have a no confidence vote, but if anything that makes our system a little more stable. The only change I would make is ranked choice voting.
