Friends, it is important to know that millions of rank and file Democrats are concerned about Biden’s health and/or his ability to beat Trump. Accusing them of wanting a Trump victory is neither accurate nor honest. We have to be the party where people can freely express concerns about Biden — otherwise, we risk degenerating into the current Republican situation, where all dissent has been quashed. 1/

@heidilifeldman Nonsense! Democrats are the worst at standing up for our own. We panic and run around like chickens with their head cut off at the slightest hint of adversity (see: Al Franken). The reason we can't have nice things is, unfortunately, because of you "well-ententioned" democrats who consistently cause us to lose elections. I normally agree with you, but this current take of yours sucks.

@LouisIngenthron It really won't matter that we remain so "above it all" and resist being labeled as a cult when the fascists take over Democracy. What then? Will Democrats then revel in the fact that at least we are not a cult? I wish pragmatsim was among the traits my fellow Democrats would cherish.

@wiseguyeddie We can be pragmatic and pluralistic. It just takes a little more time for us to come to a consensus.

Once this is settled, either way, dems will unite behind the candidate. It's just so late in the game because the establishment (and Joe) dropped the ball on a primary early on.

@LouisIngenthron I disagree. Pragmatists voted for Hillary and Pluralists were pissed that Bernie did not win the Democratic nomination for President (by the way Bernie admittedly states he hates the Democratic Party) and then what happened? The Pluralists stayed home and we got trump 2016.

@wiseguyeddie Did we? I remember voting for Hillary even though I hated her as a candidate. I think that's probably part of why she won the popular vote.

@LouisIngenthron HATED her as a candidate?HRC was unquestionably the most qualified candidate to ever run for the Presidency. If she was a man, you would have broken your legs while running to the polling booth. Thank you however for your half-hearted support of the person who should have been the first female POTUS.

@wiseguyeddie Ah, glad to see you know my misogyny better than I do without ever meeting me. :eyeroll:

*That* is why people find democrats insufferable, by the way. 🤦‍♂️

@LouisIngenthron The word misogyny never came out of my mouth. But, since you're so sensitve, pull your panties up sweetie and run along while the men handle the big issues.
