@RandomAnt Right, but in all that time, have you ever had legitimate concern that if the next vote goes wrong, it could be everyone's last vote?
There's a big difference between opponents with disastrous policy and opponents fundamentally opposed to our system of representative government, is there not?
@RandomAnt Yeah, most Republicans don't want that, I totally agree.
But one very important one does, and most of those Republicans who don't want fascism are still very much considering voting for the guy who has openly embraced fascism, so....
(and I'm from the midwest, my family is there; I'm not an outsider to this culture either)
@LouisIngenthron I know a lot of Republicans and none of them favor an America without the vote, although those are the stakes per some Democrats. I've been disappointed by politicians too many times to put much stock in such talk. I'll do my part when it comes to voting for Biden but don't expect huge changes even if the conman wins.
