seems i've caught a stray from people who may have blocked Mastodon-social.
i've been seriously considering moving, but i have a few questions:
1. why is it that Mastodon-social does not give you a backup of your toots? is this a quirk of the site of the software?
2. i want a backup of my toots. how do i get that?
3. which are the instances i should consider moving to?
4. do i have to get my own instance if i want my toots?
@blogdiva Fucks sake… Some people really block the whole instance? What in the fresh “ackshully it’s GNU plus Linux” hell is this?

There are legitimately some instances that block the instance I'm on because we don't block the same instances they do.
@schrotthaufen @blogdiva Yup. One big branch of it anyway. The whole fediblock list is just endless drama.
@LouisIngenthron @blogdiva Is that the fedi block drama I sometimes read about, but never the actual deets why it’s drama in the first place?
