I bought an item a month ago. I gave it a one star review and complained directly to the manufacturer. They addressed my problem and took effort to make things right. After I was happy, they asked if I would update my review. I did.

This story makes me think Amazon reviews are more important than I had thought.

#Amazon #Review

@ThinkingSapien A company literally sued me over a bad Amazon review.

Yeah, they really are.

@ThinkingSapien Hell no. It cost me $1000 to hire a lawyer in a state I don't even live in to file a request for summary dismissal, but I know it cost the seller more than that, and the review is still live, so I'm cool with it.

Also, when I initially received the legal threat letters (i.e. I hadn't been served yet), I wrote the response letters myself. They are popehat-level rants breaking down why their argument is full of shit and telling the seller's legal counsel he should be ashamed of himself for writing such thuggish and meritless threats.

I might need to dig that up and DM it to you. With your interest in 1A, you'd appreciate the content. 😆
