This is MSNBC's list of the drop-out Dems. I count one Black representative and a couple who are Hispanic. Thus the list is, as it has been, overwhelmingly white. This amounts to 11% of House Democrats, 6% of the Senate. Now I want to hear how many have already enthusiastically thrown their support to Kamala Harris and how many have not.

That's what's driving this whole thing-the donors are scared that their money is being wasted on the white guy and they don't want the black woman. And also, taxes. Remember taxes on the rich? that's coming back to make them angry.

@LouisIngenthron @aka_quant_noir @jeffjarvis It's not a 'evil' ulterior motive. It's stems from a overly self-interested motive of keeping their money safe. And besides, I've heard NOBODY tell what the alternative is-nobody seems to be proposing Harris to take over the candidacy-just that Biden must step aside. That's extremely shortsighted and in this case extremely dangerous. "Gee, let's jump off this cliff but we don't know where we'll land.."
