@kungtotte Yeah. My Bible app is distributed in one way as an AppImage, and it is around 150MB.
@kungtotte I know that it isolated dependencies to some extent. Someone was complaining that a snap package for a calculator app was a few hundred megabytes. These containers increase security and decrease it's reliance on external dependancies, which makes it more portable.
@kungtotte. Flatpaks isolate dependencies right?

The EFF opposed the Right to be Forgotten legislation for this reason, because it is more often used for censorship by the powerful to cover up their crimes.
@dansup I wish you lots of good luck with PixelFed. So many people, young women and girls in particular, are obsessed with Instagram. Children not legally old enough to join are active participants on the network. And Instagram has no respect for personal privacy whatsoever. These people are being exploited and there is little knowledge of it.
Once PixelFed's federation is complete, I believe I will begin to further tell people that are enslaved by Instagram the way of liberty. At least from the oppressive nature of that particular network.
