I was using my (rapidly ageing) Surface Pro 6 to read a book I'd borrowed from the Internet Archive. Then it stopped loading new pages, and I realised it was downloading updates.
Now impatiently waiting for my fucking book to update and reboot.
Some time this winter I'm likely to get fed up enough with this thing to ditch Windows.
Most Linux distros should already support everything but the touchscreen and pen, and this project fixes that: https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface

@timixretroplays I loaded Zorin, and was going to forgo the touchscreen. I'll try this to see if it works on the surfacebook...
