An acquaintance provided me with a bag of peppers...ghost, in appearance.
I decocted the essence of the peppers and placed the liquid into 2 oz dropper bottles. The flesh and a handful of garlic, salt, roasted red peppers, went into the blender for sauce. I suspect a surprise when I make delivery.... 
I have prepared for small trips to the woods. As an old fart, comfort is important....

Memorial Day is for remembrance of those that gave their all for the United States. Those individuals may not have had any influence on policy, but they did their duty.
I wish we had not lost some policy, set to a higher standard. I wish that many officers and enlisted personnel had learned the lessons of inclusion for all of the people...
A little kebab. Marinate of kefir, turmeric, and a variety of other seasonings. On naan, dresses with tzatziki, and feta.
Good morning. Current listening is the Kenny Wayne Shepard Band. I'll pick up mom for a medical appt and spend that time listening to Polyvagal Theory by Porges.
Caprese pizza. Base of ricotta, olive oils, oregano, salt and pepper. Finished with balsamic glaze....
For caturday. Jack Tar, the sailor cat. Patrols the 3rd floor balcony and maintains the watch.
Today, after physical therapy, 7 was post open reduction and internal fixation...I am in my scrubs, on meds, with a heating pad and planning zero activities. Best wishes for all out there...I will be lounging and titrating the dose of ETOH today....
First week of power production, December, mid-Atlantic coast. Still a few weeks until I can sell to the grid...but I'll take it.
