@HelenBranswell What is fearful to me, is that infant/child mortality won't be a crisis in the public's mind for a few years; into the next administration.

Excellent explainer on the Ukrainian operation. In one guy's opinion, and I am no expert, Russia has failed for years to invest in training, maintenance, and new technologies as mentioned by the speaker where the inability to build strategic capable bombers exists. Further, he mentions that there may be similar operations in place for other targets AND that Ukraine remains committed to not attacking civilian sectors. Last, that the Putin-Trump relationship is a little bit of a wild card. Trump's desires vs. putting in the work is an issue.
@realTuckFrumper
Did someone ask, "Why these people should die twenty years before you?""
Today, I reflect on Memorial Day. In my 22 years in the service, I have known people who have sacrificed all, personally and in my capacity as a care giver. I show the flag, knowing some people have perverted its symbolism; the US flag, the Gadsden flag...or other symbols of a nation established to promote the general welfare.
@DrFerrous Hmmm...smell it.....Savor the aroma.....It would taste wonderful, warm....
@socprof I hope there is some QA efforts...
@bicmay One of the problems with these various decisions will be that the "problem" is not recognized by the general population for a few years...the next administration will have new crises...
@mk30 Root hormone! Good luck.
