@Geri I am still in the habit of monitoring emerging disease....I am very worried about vaccine preventable disease. And a recent bout of people denying vitamin K injections in newborns.

@Geri In the case of Hantavirus...probably not needed. I am sure that who notified the Argentinians. I suspect that the ship will have an extensive survey and cleaning. The crew and passengers will be tracked for a couple months....Although the Andes variant incubation period is not fully defined, a few months should suffice. Here, I know all the epidemiologists for the local health departments...They will call, visit and coordinate of anyone needs care.

@Geri There are a few folks being followed here in Virginia and a couple in Hampton Roads (Southeast VA).

@Geri sounds about right. "People" want to go home.... Although I do not know....I assume the available lodging and hospital spaces available on Tenerife are limited.

@Geri Expected that with a few folks who got off the ship earlier. ECDC has got a handle on it and I will assume that Public Health folks in NHS are doing contact tracing and such.
